Why and How To Protect Adsense Account From Invalid Clicks?

Do you know your Adsense Account is in danger, yeah this is not an April fool prank or anything like a joke, this is as true as you are breathing from some past days many bloggers experiencing heavy invalid activity in their Adsense account.

You may have also experienced that number of clicks are much more than as comparison of the Estimated Earnings, especially from some countries like United states clicks are coming fluently but no money, CPC from such countries lies somewhere between $0.01 – $0.04 which is too less and this Cost per Click clearly saying that these clicks you are getting on your Ads are not Genuine for sure.
invalid clicks
Many Bloggers and Webmasters have lost their Adsense Ads in some past days because of this invalid activity or some other reasons.
Zac Johnson lost his 10 years old adsense acccount. Read his story
Just few days ago,  Theodore had been slapped by adsense. Read his story
and also because of their unawareness, so this is highly recommended that you won’t make such mistakes and keep your Adsense Account safe and secure.

How to know the Country from where invalid clicks are coming from ?

Many of you may already know about this but some don’t, so let me explain how to know from which country your Adsense Ads are getting unusually clicked, to find this out just follow these steps…
1.    Log in to your Adsense Account.
2.    Click on Overview this month.
Overview this month
3.    Select the Today date from the upper right corner.
see todays Adsense report
4.    Now click on Countries from Left sidebar.
click on countries
5.    Now carefully checkout the no. of clicks in front of each Country name.

If you detect any country from where clicks have been done but CPC from there are very low then it simply means that your Adsense Ads are in danger.

How to Protect Your Adsense Account?

See if you are getting unusual clicks on your Ads, then first of all you try to detect the IP(s) of clicker and if you successfully detect those IP’s then just block them to showing Ads so that they won’t see your Ads and this way they cannot click on your Ads.
If you’re unable to fetch the IP address from where clicks are being performed then you most recommended way to keep your Adsense account safe is that, you must stop showing ads on your site for at least sometime, because if you stop publishing ads on your sites for some time/days it may cause loss of some Dollars to you but if you cannot prevent it then you may loss your Adsense for forever, which sounds so bitter to any blogger.
Note:
It has been also seen sometimes that CPC are good and clicks are coming in bulks (more than expectations), but those were also invalid clicks.
To understand this better, suppose one person click on your Ad, Google gave you $2.0 for that one click which means click : 1 and CPC : $2.0 then 9 clicks are also done by an other person which are invalid clicks and Google haven’t gave you anything for those clicks, now your stats will show click : 10 and CPC : $0.20 which also looks good and generally we think it’s Ok if CPC is good but as you in example it’s not always okay.
So if you ever feel unusual increase in no. of clicks on your Ads you must report to Googleregarding this to keep your side strong.

5 Basic Pillars of Creating Successful and Profitable Blog

To a lot of people blogging is deemed as “difficult” to create a profitable blog and making money from it seems next to impossible. I believe making money blogging is very easy and this is the mindset I approach my blogging ventures with and is also the same mindset you should have. The basic components of a creating a profitable blog blog are simple if you get everything right from the start. The only challenge is the execution of making money online. A lot of people have high aspirations of making money online but what most of them seem to be lacking is the right mindset, patience, dedication and perseverance.

Blogs have become one of the most popular past times in our day and age today, and it almost seems like everyone on the web is looking to start a blog. When the idea of the weblog was first created in 1997, the idea of making money had not even been a factor but now it seems that everyone is writing about something they love and making money from it.
So how do they do it? Well, having extensively studied many successful blogs online, I have compiled a list 5 basic but very important components that will factor in whether you are successful online and if you take the basics of the top bloggers and apply them into your own blogging, then you too can make a profitable blog in less time. Below are 5 Basic Pillars of Creating Successful and Profitable Blog..

How To Create Profitable and Successful Blog?

1. Find a Broader Niche

Pick a Niche and Carve Out a Smaller One
This is most common rookie error when it comes to blogging. A lot of new start ups online fail to realize that they should not try to dominate the big niches and instead carve out smaller niches. The best way I can explain this is by giving an example of who is in my opinion the best blogger out there, Brian Clark.
Copyblogger is another blog that educates others about making money online but focuses strictly on copywriting and content. I had not seen any others doing this, so what he did was in essence carve out a niche for himself and that is what you have to think about doing.
My mentor Matt Bacak told me that if you want to be incredibly wealthy, you have to create and control markets. Find out where your passions and hobbies lie, and try to first recognize the bigger niche you can place your foot in. Once you have established this, find out where you can specifically specialize in and form your blog around that. This is how you create and control markets.

2. Find Out If Your Niche Is Profitable

Now the step above is very important point in Making a blog Successful and Profitable Blog, but this point is equally as important. When you are carving out a niche for yourself, you have to be smart about it.
Lets say you were thinking about entering the broad niche of health and fitness and knew a lot about swimming. This is good, and there are many blogs out there that talk about swimming in general but, if you decided that you wanted to teach people how to swim in the ocean and learn how to do deep diving and things like that, this may be great for some people, but would not be in the general interest of others.
Specializing in something like the Swimmers Diet and obtaining the swimmers body would be a better approach. This is something that only you can figure with a little research and common sense.

3. Finding the Right Keywords

Effective Keyword Research is Crucial
Anything can fit under the category of keywords. Your blog url. The titles of your articles. Your header tags. Meta description tags and anything else. SEO is a very crucial step in making money online and if you take the time to learn how to do effective keyword research from the start, you can really make your marketing and online awareness a whole lot simpler.
There are 2 ways to go about keyword research, and these are 2 things I do to find out which keywords I have a chance at ranking highly for in the shortest space of time.
1. Find Specific Long Tail Keywords – What keywords do you think someone might type when searching for your site in Google? How specific are they and how obvious are they? Specific long tail keywords are a great way to start your keyword research. Write down a long list of keywords that can be possible candidates for your title tags, header tags and article titles.
2. Determine Competitiveness of Each Keywords – So once you have your list of keyword phrases, it is time to see how relevant they are. Start by going to the Google Adwords Keywords Tool and typing in your keywords.
What we are looking for is a high global monthly search number. Anything with 10000+ is great.
Then what you want to do is do an “allintitle” search for your specific keyword. This is to see how much competition you have. In order to do this, just go to the Google and type in your keyword like this:
allintitle:keyword here
What this command does is it tells Google to tell you how many pages on Google have the keyword in the title tag. With this you want to aim for a number below 3000.
Once you have found a list of keywords with a high global monthly search and low all in title number, then you have a winner. This will surely help you in Creating Successful and Profitable Blog.

4. Get Your Blog Set Up

The Power of WordPress
Once you have your keywords and your niche, it is time to create a blog. Creating a blog is very easy. Here are few things that you need. You can choose blogger or wordpress hosting. But I would recommend you selfhost wordpress blog. For wordpress hosting Hostgator is current the best web hosting provider. They have excellent support and features.
As a lot of Hosting providers have what is called “Fantastico De Luxe” on their C-Panel which allow you to set up a blog in literally minutes.
Don’t forget that a blog is basically a reflection of your expertise so it should reflect that of your brand. Look at how other people in your niche have set up their blogs and if the layout feels right to you, you can emulate some of their strategies and layouts in your own blog.
Don’t forget that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, so if someone else doesn’t like the look of your blog, it does not mean you should try changing to best suit their needs. Make it easily navigable, with colors that do not contrast too greatly and make your blogs purpose clearly visible!

5. Begin Creating Content !

This is when everything takes off! The purpose of a blog is provide your specialty and expertise to your reader. In essence, your information should solve the problem of the reader and upon reading your content, they should feel as if they have learnt something very valuable.
When you write content with confidence, people begin to respect you as an author and blogger and thus your credibility and authority in your “specific niche” goes up.
Make sure that your writing is educational, unique and mind blowing. I have found that telling success stories of yourself and/or others while giving tips is the best way to go. People feed off the success of others, and when they read about it, it makes them feel compelled to do the same. Adding in a quote here and there is also a great way to provoke a thought, I mean lets face it, who doesn’t love a clever quote?
So, here are the 5 Basic Pillars of Creating Successful and Profitable Blog. These things are just the “icing on the cake” and the real success will come when you really get your blog into 5th gear and keep experimenting and implementing new techniques.
All I can say for now is master the basics and when all the fundamentals are in place, you can begin to look at more advanced techniques. The basics are always the most important factors and once you get them in place just keep going and you will see result!

Create Valuable Posts

Different bloggers have different success with long or short posts. However, the key to being successful with blogging is by delivering valuable content to your readers. 7 Strategies I Use To Increase My Blog Traffic (I Bet You Can Too!)

Today, I decided to share with you some of the effective methods and strategies I am using in my blog. The strategies that I’m sharing with you require patience and hard work for implementation. Of course, they are easy. It’s not what the common bloggers commonly suggests to do. Let me put some effective sure-fire strategies to get real-time success in blogging.

Methods for Rankings and Traffic

1 – Long blog posts works for everyone, believe me.

Length of the blog post matters a lot in blog posts, Google is ranking long, insightful posts higher than those blog posts with a shorter length. As with the introduction of Google knowledge graph, the importance of the length of the content has become important.
Other advantages of lengthy content are:
1. It is easy to target, multiple keywords throughout the post and thus rank for multiple keywords.
2. We can include more internal links throughout the content.
3. Possibility of being indexed in Google in-depth articles, and thus getting loyal readers, who love more content.
4. Rank higher, and double your chances of ranking in the first page of SERPs.
There is no doubt that blog posts with great insightful content increases your blog’s search visibility in SERPs. The results may not be observed if yours is a new blog, it may take some time. However, once the blog post ranks for the keyword, there is no chance of a drop in rankings.
We can say that long form content is beneficial for long time. Content length is the sure-fire formula for getting high exposure and rankings.

2 – Quality blog posts

I think I need not stress the importance of quality content. I know all of you ABT readers are already tired of blog posts that stress the importance of quality. However, no blog post is complete without stressing the importance of quality content.
A site with optimized quality content is given more credit than other sites, it is better if you made your site content interesting for human traffic. Google algorithm will find out if a site is beneficial to the human user. Google algorithm will determine how much time a user spends while visiting a site based on different search queries. If a site is visited often and user likes to visit it again, its ranking stays better due to decrease in bounce rate and increase in click through rate.

3 – Include LSI keywords instead of keyword stuffing

Victim of keyword stuffing? No worries, it happens to the best of us. So use LSI keywords. So, what are LSI keywords? Keywords related to the main keyword is called LSI keywords. Let me make myself clear to you now.
Take an example, you are writing a post on “Google Plus and its benefits”.  For this topic, LSI keywords may be hashtags, G+, communities, just all terms related to it.
Instead of including the main keyword throughout the post and be a victim of keyword stuffing, include LSI keywords throughout the post, which may look natural.
Chaitanya wrote a nice guide on using LSI keywords you can read here.

4 – Diversify anchor texts

Anchor texts are the texts that come in links. For example, in subscription button “Subscribe now” may be an anchor text, which leads you to the subscription page.
Like this while obtaining backlinks, do not include the large number of exact anchor texts, it may look unnatural. Some of the examples of diversified anchor texts are “Post title (exact match)”“this post”“click here”.
Keeping the same anchor texts for a single post gives an impression to Google that you are indulging in the bulk backlinks scheme or black hat practices. Writing blog posts focusing on SEO, link, rankings, rather than focusing on quality content leads to these problems. Be natural.

5 – Target a keyword

I know that with the ineffectiveness of the Google keyword planner and extinction of Google Adwords keywords tool, it has been never easy to find and implement effective keyword.
So it’s now the time to make use Google suggest. I don’t tell you to head over to Google search, type in and look for suggestions.
There is an awesome tool called UberSuggest that gives you never ending list of Google suggestions for a keyword. You can make use of this tool, make a list of surefire long tail keywords and put them in the Keyword planner for search volumes and competitions. This is one of the effective free ways. I am also using this to find worthy long-tail keywords.
If you want premium, WordTracker is the best of all.

6 – Regularly update your site

Loyal readers of your blog expect quality content from you very often. So in order to keep them from visiting and alerting Google about your blog, it is necessary to publish QUALITY posts more often. If you got a blog, keep it updated and post regularly, write quality content and do not forget to get customers or users’ feedback.
Keep the posting frequency between 3-4 times a week. Frequency is less important than quality. If you have extraordinary quality, unique content, then posting 2 times a week is enough. But you know…

7 – Make use of bold and italics

Typography matters a lot. Readers tend to love great content with great typography. The majority of readers are speed-readers, to stop them from doing so, use speed breakers, like bold and italic texts. Italize sentences like conversations and bold important points.
This also helps attract the readers and improve your blog’s typography.

Conclusion

So, above are the strategies I am using in my blog, and my blog is responding very well to these strategies. Implementing these strategies in your blog will surely lead to your blogging success, but it may take some time to get results. If you are a newbie and followed all these strategies, I can assure that you will stand out of the crowd within a year or 6 months. As with anything hard work and patience is important.
I’m sure you have liked this article. Please make those static share buttons, dynamic.

How To Upgrade AdSense Hosted to Non-hosted Account

upgrade adsense hosted account

The leading advertisement network Google Adsense has changed its policies for the Adsense account approval.
Earlier, getting AdSense account approved was very easy. All you needed was to apply for AdSense through blogspot or youtube and use it on any other websites you want.
That was very easy process but people started misusing it. After getting AdSense they started using it in low quality and spamming blogs.
So, Google decided to make a big change to their AdSense policies as mentioned in their official blog. There are now two types of AdSense account. The first one is AdSense hosted account and the second on is non-hosted AdSense account.
Here’s the difference between AdSense hosted and non-hosted account.

What is Adsense Hosted Account?

AdSense hosted account is the one that is approved by partner sites of Google such as Blogspot, YouTube or HubPages. So if you have an approved account from there, it will be known as Adsense Hosted Account.

Getting approval of hosted account is comparatively easy to the normal account. In this type, you do not have your own domain.

AdSense non-hosted account is the one which you can use on any website that you own even if your account is on domains like .com, .net or .org.
However, getting a non-hosted Adsense account is not that easy anymore because many people tried to trick AdSense to get approved so they changed the policies. You have to fulfil all the requirements of AdSense to get approved.
When you apply for the normal Adsense account, you are required to have the quality blog or website which is according to AdSense requirements. Their team will review your account manually.
You need to get the approval before you start placing your ads on other websites otherwise your ad place will appear white. In case, if you don’t get the approval from Google AdSense. You can always try back until you finally get approved for the non-hosted account.

Now create a new HTML widget in your blog sidebar and add AdSense code that you generated in the step mentioned above.
Done.
Google will manually review your application. It can take few days or week.

What to do if the application is disapproved?

You’ll get an email about approval or disapproval. Even if your application is rejected, don’t worry. You will be able to use Adsense on hosted sites like Blogspot or Youtube. You can always try again and again until you get approved
You can also try other ad networks. I recommend Infolinks and Bidvertiser.
Are you using Google Adsense? Is it hosted or non-hosted fully approved account?

Making Your Presence in Blogosphere

To attract customers or investors to your business you need to make your presence in the market, and this rule sticks to every business. In blogging world it is done by commenting on other blogs. Well, you all knew this does`t mean just adding few sentence but some worthy comment to attract readers to your blog.
Selecting your niche blogs is very important. Unfortunately few blogs say that niche is not important just getting link is important. I must say that for them, user is not important only robots are important!
Lets say that you have a blog on environment and you are commenting on SEO niche blogs. Yes, you will get a link but do you think when a user clicks your link will he/she be ready to read your posts?

To gain Gain More Opportunities

One of the easiest way to attract readers, traffic and guest posting. When you comment on other blogs on regular basis then you will come to know bloggers personally and this will make them to visit your blog and support your blog with guest posting.
I don`t say that blog commenting is the only way to get guest bloggers. This is one of the easiest way to get the work done.

Backlinks, Backlinks!

backlinks
Yeah, now we came the most important thing getting backlinks. Backlinks is important, as based on this you will improve your SERPs. Blog commenting gets you lot of niche related backlinks. Some of the blogs give dofollow links which is very important for SERPs.
Most of the blogs use comment luv plugin which not only gives you a dofollow link but also anchor text! Try here commenting on blogs which use premium comment luv plugin.
But as as I discussed above getting backlinks is not your only goal. Remember that you need to impress readers who read your comment.

To Keep Yourself Up-to-date

One more benefit that you get when you comment on your niche blog is that you will get to know more latest info from other bloggers. Lets say, that you have a blog on affiliate niche then by commenting on other blogs you may come to know about latest update from Google (that using nofollow for affiliate link is recommended).
This is one of the easiest way that I think you can keep up-to-date. Any newbie can try this, all he/she has to do is regularly comment on blogs.

Building Your Community

Discussing (commenting) on other blogs regarding your niche can make many newbies and other bloggers to click your link and follow your blog posts. And this helps you to build your blog community. Where you can easily release new offers and giveways for your readers.
Building community helps you in many ways like when you write your first ebook you can take feedback from them and improve accordingly. This will increase more advertisers for your blog.
Most of the bloggers even after knowing the importance of blog commenting don`t try it seriously. Hope this post will make us to think about it and take blog commenting seriously.

Facebook: Join in Groups.. Promote yourself out there.. BTW facebook alone is giving me 100+ leads daily (even without promoting everyday!). Ammar Ali is also getting huge traffic from Facebook ;) . So don’t neglect bringing Facebook traffic to your blog.
You may find it difficult in the beginning but when you start promoting others content and when you get to know each other on Facebook, it becomes very easy!
PS: You can join our group ‘Everything About Blogging‘,  and can promote your blog there!

4. Spend time on writing detailed articles.

Never assume that you can bring quality traffic without much efforts.
You need to differentiate yourself with others to become successful. It takes time to create content, I agree but you shouldn’t spend whole time creating only normal or average 600 words posts.
Spend time to create great content.
Write detailed posts with 1000 or 1500+ words once in a while. If you’re not a full time blogger like me, at least try to create detailed posts once or twice a month.
So that you can grab others attention and you can show your blogging expertise to your readers.
It’s really important for you to create killer articles regularly to survive in blogosphere. This can bring your quality traffic from other sites or search engines.

4. Don’t forget SEO

Most people say forget about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) when you’re just starting out.SEO TACTICS

I think that’s the dumbest suggestion!

You need to focus on what keywords to use and how much keyword density you should maintain in your content to get search engine traffic to your blog.
It’s extremely important to bring organic (search engine) traffic to your blog. Because it’s free and highly effective!
Make sure that you’re not keyword stuffing your content. It makes your readers hard to digest what you’re saying in your articles.
And do proper keyword analysis before you’re writing the articles. Then embed them into your posts. If you’re a beginner then this is enough! Don’t go beyond, you’ll better understand about SEO when you’re spending more time on blogging.

Conclusion:

Always try to retweet and promote your fellow bloggers before asking them to promote your content. This can make others to promote your content sooner or later and you will have high chances of getting their attention if they find it useful.
I dint recommend guest blogging here in this post. Major reason is without having any online reputation you can’t cope up with other bloggers to get accepted your guest posts. When they reject you, you’ll feel down to submit another guest post to them.
So, focus on building a network by blog commenting, writing great stuff and social media networking using above tips.
